Based on the iconic fairytale by Hans Christian Andersen, The Red Shoes was our first ever production.

A little girl is given a pair of beautiful dancing shoes, the objects of her hearts desire. But when she puts the shoes on she finds that her desires overtake her and she is doomed to dance a never-ending journey of wild abandon.

The Red Shoes featured a set constructed entirely of book pages from ex-library books and an original score by composer Jeff Carpenter.

Performed in Homerton Auditorium February 2010
